Hey parents! We’re Melle & Iris, the founders of Blue Light Buddy. While we’re not parents ourselves, we care deeply about kids' well-being. Iris works with children professionally and has seen firsthand how much screen time has become a part of their daily lives—along with the effects of too much blue light exposure. We started digging into the research and realized that while screens aren’t going anywhere, there are ways to make them safer. That’s why we teamed up to create Blue Light Buddy: a simple way to help protect kids’ eyes without making screen time a constant battle.

With Iris' experience working with children and Melle’s background in digital marketing, IT, and business, we’ve built a brand that puts families first. Our blue light blocking screen protectors offer an easy, stress-free way to reduce eye strain and support healthier screen habits—without extra effort from busy parents. We’re here to help, not to overwhelm, because we know parenting comes with enough challenges already.
